Born in the UK in 1976, Max studied Biological Sciences at Oxford University specialising in Neurobiology. Drawn to the eastern philosophy and meditation he moved to Japan in his early 20’s, eventually spending 18 years there.

In Japan, he continued to follow his passion for nature and biology, studying the link between water and energy with Dr. Masaru Emoto’s group, as well as learning about synergistic microorganism communities with Prof. Teruo Higa from Okinawa. Together with his wife Madoka they studied and implemented a sustainable lifestyle in the mountains near Kyoto.

Using the permaculture model as a base they incorporated other modalities including activated water (structured water), synergistic micro-organisms and energy fields. Fully bilingual, Max has written several books in Japanese, lecturing at conferences, schools and universities all over the country. His talks and workshops focus on neurobiology, physiology, practical chi-energy and meditation techniques to change your reality by altering your electromagnetic signature.
